In today’s studio session, we were asked based on last week 9 activity to redesign and improve our current logo designs.
In order to better re-design our current logo it was recommended to do further research and take in consideration the feedback reviews from both tutors and peers.
Below again is the title design peer evaluation from week 9.
Through week 9’s peer reviews, we were able to assess which aspect of our logos worked and what didn’t through the sections where we scored less than 10 and vital comments of improvements.
After reading through the evaluations and recommendation we were asked to do a comparison of our old design vs. our new design.
Below is the Before and After designs of my logo.
Improvements on Logo Design:
- It was recommended that the logo was cluttered inside of the triangle, therefore I lessened it and used only a few art tools, having more space.
- It was also recommended to make the triangle weight thicker, therefore I made the triangle thicker, making the logo more visible when shrunk to a smaller size.
- It was also recommended that that the heart could be replaced in the wordmark, thus I replaced it with a tree instead again to connect and better represent what the project concept is all about which is using recycled items to create DIY crafts to better improve the environment we live in through the promotion of recycling.
Therefore through this weeks activity, it enables us to improve and re-design our logos to better represent our project concepts.
