Material Designs device metrics is a tool website that allows users and designers to determine what screen size on devices are suited for their intended project. The device metric page allows a comprehensive list of sizing, resolution, ratio etc. for each available device. Through this information users and designers are able to design and layout their interactive projects in an efficient way were time wont be wasted on estimation and removing. The device metrics page also allows users and designers a hypothetical view of what their desired interactive design will look like on the selected devices and again this is essential for figuring out what device works best.

With users and designers developing interactive design screen interfaces it is essential to determine what user interface pattern works best with the desired project. Pattern Tap is a library designed by Zurb Notable that collects specific designs and user interaction patterns towards interactive screen based design. Through this library users and designers are able to learn what patterns works with specific user interface designs and why or why not they may not work. Pattern Tap also contains examples of common website parts such as borders, comments, backgrounds and menu styles like the popular hamburger menu. Through careful assessing users and designers can also learn the purpose behind why particular design patterns for screens are used, therefore using and applying that information to future interactive design projects.
